Made with fruit from the Portteus Vineyard in the Rattlesnake Hills AVA, our 2016 Malbec is a dark and luscious full bodied wine with mature tannins. Ripe blueberry and smokey notes and dark flavors combine with a hint of crème brulée for a wine that will show uniquely on every palate. The fruity notes of sweet dried cranberry and ripe blackberry in this wine are balanced with pleasant hints of spice and earth in the finish. Matured in oak, this Malbec is just the thing with lamb kabobs or grilled grass-fed beef.
