2021 Chardonnay
This 2021 Chardonnay is a lovely day bright pale straw color with aromas of green apple, lemon zest, mint leaves and wet stone.
On the palate find juicy Bartlett pear and balanced flavors of mint and citrus with a texture reminiscent of honeydew melon. This wine finishes dry with round flavors of Golden Delicious apple and ripe Nashi pear. The lingering acidity will encourage another sip and another bite of your favorite shellfish dish.

Winemaker Notes
Most of the grapes for this wine were picked on September 14 with the intention of making a sparkling wine. But at that point in a warm vintage it was already too ripe for sparkling. But that accident turned fortuitous as it led to our favorite style of Chardonnay: a crisp, balanced Chardonnay reminiscent of Chablis and Burgundy. Just 10 days in barrels gives it that kiss of oak that really ties the wine together.
