2019 Dix-Nuef- Winner of Double Gold at the 2022 Seattle Wine Awards. The soft red garnet color belies the mid palate intensity of this wine. Find aromas of ripe strawberry, blackberry, smoke, bacon fat and anise. On the palate the attack is soft, round and welcoming, opening with minty and meaty notes giving way to flavors of ripe strawberry, bramble, black pepper, tobacco and rosemary. The mouthfeel is round and soft, the wine finishes dry with lingering flavors of blueberry, ripe strawberry, cocoa and a hint of licorice.
2019 Grenache- Winner of Double Gold at the 2022 San Francisco Chronicle wine competition. A soft red garnet color, bright but with a slight haze. On the nose we are greeted by aromas of red plum, tobacco, cinnamon, jasmine flower and smoked meat. On the palate find luscious flavors of ripe strawberry mingled with little wild blackberry, cocoa and baking spice. The mouthfeel is soft and satisfying and the wine finishes dry with a lingering minerality, flavors of sauced cranberry, cacao and fresh herbs.
2021 Viognier- Winner of Double Gold at the 2022 Susnet Magazine wine competition. A bright straw color and has aromas of fresh peach, nectarine and pineapple with notes of honeysuckle and lemongrass. On the palate the mouthfeel is full bodied and round. Generous flavors of luscious peach and apricot are held in check by tart notes of lemon and lime peel. On the finish the wine exhibits texture and a pleasant viscosity and is in balance with long lasting flavors of dried apricot, lemon peel, toasted almond and fresh ginger root.
