One of the essential elements of our vision for Port Townsend Vineyards has been a crisp, refreshing white blend of our own vineyard’s grapes. While we’re establishing our local vineyard and waiting eagerly for the first crop, we’ve partnered with local growers in the Puget Sound AVA, along with our other growers in the Pacific Northwest, to produce this easy-sipping wine that goes as well with our local seafood as it does with just a sunny day.
The grapes are harvested early in the morning to preserve freshness and brought to our winery in Port Townsend as quickly as possible. They’re then pressed and transferred to stainless steel tanks for temperature-controlled fermentation to preserve their fruit character and aromatics. We think you’ll enjoy the result as much as we do.
