Vineyard:
Grown on old vines at Lopez Island Vineyards. Our vineyard crew took part in the farming of these vines to gain experience in a full growing season.
Process:
Half fermented in stainless steel, the other half in neutral oak barrels to develop more weight on the palate.
Tasting notes:
Delicately aromatic and earthy, this wine feels evokes the sensation of rain on a stone-laid garden path.
Food pairing:
Steamed mussels and raw oysters would be perfect. A more intrepid pairing would be braised black cod.
Aging:
Drink now through the summer of 2018.
