A deep ruby red with generous aromatic notes of black plum, red cherry, spearmint, cocoa and roasted meat.  On the palate find black cherry and blackberry flavors surrounded by notes of cocoa and dried sage. The wine has a mild astringency and finishes dry with pleasant though persistent tannins and offers lingering flavors of red cherry and chicory.
