What discounts do I receive as a member?
All members receive:
- 10% off all wines by-the-glass
- 10% off bottle purchases (1 to 5 bottles)
- 15% off six pack purchases (6 to 11 bottles)
- 20% off case purchases (12+ bottles)
What does it cost to join? Are there any fees?
Your membership and benefits begin after an initial minimum purchase of $90. There are no ongoing fees or dues, however the purchase of two allocations are required per year. Other than the two allocations per year, there are no other automatic charges to your credit card on file.
What is an allocation?
An allocation, or allotment, is selection of wines we set aside just for our members. Depending on your club level, you will receive either three, six, or twelve bottles in your allocation. Our winemaker and team select new, exclusive, and seasonal favorites we know the curious and adventurous will enjoy. Allocations are offered in the Spring and Fall each year.
How do I pay for my allocation?
Members are required to have a valid credit card on file that will be charged for each allocation. You can change or update this information in person, over the phone, or online. Members are notified via email with dates and confirmation of allocation charges. Although your credit card is on file for wine club, we are not able at all times to charge your card for day-to-day tasting room transactions.
Can I change the wines in my allocation?
Each season, our winemaker and team select new, exclusive, and seasonal wines just for the club! Your allocation is pre-set to the wines selected by our winemaker and team. Based on current availability, we can offer some alternatives to select during allocation time, however we are not able to offer every wine on our menu for an allocation. Members may purchase additional wines that are not included in the allocation when they come to pick up. Members who receive their wines via UPS can order additional wines and our staff will package them together for shipping.
Do you have an "All Reds" or "All Whites" option?
Port Townsend Vineyards does not offer an "All Reds" or "All Whites" option at this time. We encourage our members to try all of our wines to find their perfect pairing with classic Northwest found, foraged, fished, and farmed foods.
When will I receive my first allocation?
Wine club members receive two allocations per year in the Spring and Fall. Spring allocation releases in April/May, while Fall allocation releases in September/October. Members are notified before each allocation is charged to their card on file through email. Any additional allocations or promotions are completely voluntary to participate or receive. Please note, club enrollment requires a two-allocation minimum commitment.
In the top, right-hand corner of our website you can click on "Log In"
to access your membership. Once you enter your username and password, you can navigate to your membership portal by clicking on "Hello (Your Name)" at the top of the screen. Members can edit their information, add or remove a credit card, check on the current allocation, add a shipping address, and see allocation order history. Once you are signed in, you can then see your membership discounts when you add wines to the shopping cart. Where do I pick up my allocation?
Your allocations will be available for pick-up at our winery location. We invite members to celebrate these releases at "Pick up" events, where your wines will be first available to pick up. After these events, your wines are kept at the winery location and can be picked up from the tasting room. Let our staff know you are a member and they will be happy to help.
How long do I have to pick up my allocation?
If you are unable to make it to one of the "Pick up" events, we are happy to hold your wines for up to 60 days or we can arrange shipment anywhere in Washington, Oregon or California. See below for mroe details!
Where do you ship? What are the shipping fees?
Port Townsend Vineyards can ship your wines to any physical Washington, Oregon, or California address via UPS Ground shipping. A person 21 years or older is required to sign for these shipments at time of delivery. UPS does not ship wine to any PO box address. We can also ship to any UPS store location for pick up. Our club shipping rates are:
- $15 flat rate on 1 to 2 bottles
- Complimentary shipping for 3 bottles or more!
- $20 flat rate on 1 to 5 bottles
- Complimentary shipping for 6 bottles or more!
- $25 flat rate on 1 to 11 bottles
- Complimentary shipping for cases or more!
How do I cancel my membership?
We understand things can change and we would be sad to see you go! We also understand that each situation is unique, so please email
