Gewürztraminer is one of the most aromatic white grapes in the world, which makes it a great match for more strongly flavored foods, ranging from some more intense cheeses to spicy Thai food.

Our Gewürztraminer is refreshingly dry and medium to full-bodied, with floral, citrus and lychee aromas.  The wine was picked relatively early to retain acidity and then fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the purity of the fruit’s character.  Our partner vineyard for the grapes is in Sherwood in Oregon, just north-east of Chehalem, where most of the vines were planted 30 years ago.
