Milbrandt Vineyards in the Wahluke Slope AVA.
Stainless steel and neutral-barrel fermented to promote complexity. Fermented to almost complete dryness leaving just a touch of residual sugar to balance the acidity.
Lemon, lime and apple on the nose leads to savory notes and beeswax on the palate. This is a dry Riesling that will gain more and more complexity over time.
This Riesling brings a zing and pop to dishes on the lighter end of the spectrum. Grilled white fish, creamed soup and baked pear would accompany this wine quite well.
2018 to 2025. Should get better and better with age. Expect honeysuckle and petrol flavors to develop over the years.
