Winemaker Notes
Half the grapes in this wine came from Seven Hills Vineyard in the famed Rocks District in Walla Walla, the other half were grown by our friends at FireThorn Vineyard just south of the Columbia River. Aged in a nice diversity of French oak made by three different coopers, we feel we crafted a well-rounded Merlot that brings out what's good about Merlot – supple round fruit – while still featuring structured tannins and a pleasing depth of flavor.
Food Pairing Notes
Braised pork loin with a rosemary rub or roasted tomato white bean stew.
