Generous aromas of black cherry, currant, split almonds and Szechuan pepper with deeper notes of savory chutney.  On the palate find an attractive and bright acidity that leads into a ribbon of Northwest salal and wild blackberry components.  Tannins make their presence known on the finish with a burst of cacao nib and pink peppercorn that meanders into a warm sloe berry finale.
