Port Townsend Vineyards

2021 Mourvèdre

2021 Mourvèdre

Our Mourvedre brings to our attention the changing seasons upon us as we shed our winter coats and invite the warmth of spring to invoke growth and renewal. With it's opulent draw of aromas representing the uniquely rich terroir of the southwestern facing slopes of Sugarloaf Vineyards, the aromas translate upon the nose a more robust essence of mossy rainforest and earth. Expressive, with savory notes of leather, sage and eucalyptus, with tension on the mid-palate as it softens towards a finish that is clean yet fleeting.
