A rare expression of Washington State Zinfandel, our 2019 vintage is a beautiful ruby red wine with warm aromas of blueberry compote, raspberry and cinnamon. On the palate find focused flavors of spiced baked plums and ripe red fruits. Though the tannins are generous the finish is soft, supple and long lasting. Find lingering, lively flavors of tangy cranberry and ripe black cherries and baking spice.
Picked from vines grown on a high, craggy hill over the Columbia River in the Horse Heaven Hills, these grapes ripened in the warm, constant wind bearing up the river. The wine was aged in French out and turned out delightfully bright and friendly.
